Who is still allowed to work after 10 p.m.? Bishkek has tightened noise regulations for establishments

The Bishkek City Hall has issued a new order under the Law on Noise, according to which all cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, and other entertainment establishments are required to close no later than 10 p.m. After this time, high-energy electrical appliances must be turned off, and any events with loud music, bright lights, or other noise are strictly prohibited.

However, there is an exception: only those establishments that are located far from residential buildings and use electric generators in full compliance with noise regulations may operate after 10 p.m. They are allowed to continue operating provided that the noise does not disturb the peace of the city's residents.

District administrations and municipal inspectors are responsible for monitoring compliance with the order. They will conduct regular raids and record violations.
