02/28/2025, 18:09Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev held a meeting with Kang Sangjin, head of the Export-Import Bank of South Korea's representative office in Tashkent.
Kyrgyz Ambassador to South Korea Aida Ismailova and relevant employees of the ministry also participated in the discussions. During the meeting, issues of co-operation in the field of road transport and road safety were touched upon.
The parties discussed steps to improve the material and technical base of the Ministry, paying special attention to accelerating the approval of the feasibility study for the project of transferring road construction equipment and purchasing 223 units of equipment. In addition, discussions were held on the implementation of the project to build a bridge across the Toktogul reservoir.
It was also reported about the imminent arrival of an evaluation mission from Korea to accelerate the implementation of these projects.
