Kyrgyzstan and Austria discussed issues related to the digitalisation of the transport industry

The parties discussed the development of bilateral projects and the digitisation of transport processes, including the introduction of electronic documents for freight transport.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic Beknazar Bazaraliev held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Finance of Austria Andreas Reichhard and representatives of Austrian companies. During the talks, key areas of bilateral cooperation and prospects for expanding joint initiatives were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the digitalisation of the transport industry. The parties discussed the introduction of electronic documents for freight transport and the creation of an integrated automated transport management system in European Union countries, ranging from electronic administration to digital service provision.

Beknazar Bazaraliev noted the openness of the Ministry of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic to multilateral cooperation and the strengthening of existing agreements. He also emphasised Kyrgyzstan's interest in Austria's experience in the field of digital transformation of transport processes.
