06/29/2025, 09:50Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Iskender Asylkulov, convened with a business delegation from the Chinese city of Chongqing on June 27, 2025, at the #MECCR. The visit was organized by the Trade Representation of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the KR in the People's Republic of China.
The delegation included over 30 representatives from major companies and industry associations of Chongqing. During the meeting, both parties discussed key areas of cooperation - investments, tourism development, export expansion, and collaboration in infrastructure and industrial projects.
The Chinese side expressed readiness to implement investment initiatives in energy, agriculture, and industry sectors. They also highlighted an interest in developing tourism and creating joint projects aimed at attracting Chinese tourists to Kyrgyzstan. Special emphasis was placed on increasing the export of Kyrgyz products to China and expanding partnerships in the energy sector.
