    Following a joint meeting, Kyrgyzstan and Russia have signed five cooperation agreements

    A joint meeting headed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov and the Chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin has been held in Moscow. As a result of the meeting, five bilateral documents to strengthen the partnership between the two countries have been signed.

    Among the signed documents is an agreement on cooperation in healthcare, medical education and science, providing knowledge exchange and medical project development. Also signed was a protocol with amendments to the 2002 agreement on international road transport, which improves transport relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

    In addition, the agreement on information interaction in the pension sphere between the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan and the Pension Fund of Russia was concluded, aimed at data exchange improving. The memorandum on improving financial literacy signed by the finance and central banks of the two countries to support educational initiatives is also important.

    Finally, the memorandum on training in the transport sector was signed, to strengthen cooperation between the transport departments of the two countries in specialist training.
