Kyrgyzstan and Hungary discussed the EU's sanctions policy

Kyrgyzstan continues to strengthen dialogue with European partners on sanctions policy. During his visit to Budapest, First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.

The key topics of the talks were mechanisms for cooperation under sanctions pressure, as well as the role of Central Asian countries in forming stable trade and economic chains in the Eurasian space.

Amangeldiev noted that it is important for Kyrgyzstan to maintain economic stability and expressed his readiness to continue cooperation with EU member states on sanctions issues.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of bilateral relations, in particular the strengthening of political dialogue, the expansion of trade and economic ties, and the development of investment partnerships.
