11/05/2024, 10:52The OJSC ‘MAM’ has become an official member of ACI EUROPE - one of the largest international organisations uniting airports in Europe. On 4 November 2024, the Chairman of the Board of the OJSC ‘MAM’ Manasbek Samidinov met with the Director General of ACI EUROPE Olivier Yankovec, who visited the Manas International Airport in Kyrgyzstan. During the meeting, the OJSC ‘MAM’ was presented with a certificate confirming its accession to ACI EUROPE.
The meeting discussed key issues of air transport development in Kyrgyzstan, including the aviation sector's contribution to the country's economy and the importance of air traffic for the region. The parties noted the important role of airports in ensuring sustainable growth and development prospects of the country's aviation market.
The Director General of ACI EUROPE congratulated MAM on this important step, stressing that membership in the organisation will open new opportunities for strengthening the aviation sector in Kyrgyzstan. ACI EUROPE is a regional branch of Airports Council International, which includes more than 500 airports and promotes the development of aviation, improving the quality of passenger service and enhancing safety in air transport.
