Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations to purchase a modular data centre in Osh for 110.3 million KGS

A tender has been announced in Kyrgyzstan for the procurement of a modular data centre (DC) and associated equipment for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The total value of the tender is 110.326 million KGS.

Delivery and deployment of the equipment are planned in the city of Osh at the following address: 11a Mominovaya Street — at the Crisis Management Centre. The contract terms stipulate a DDP format, including all taxes and duties payable by the supplier.

The delivery period is set at 180 days from the date of contract conclusion.

The project involves the creation of a containerised data centre with a complete engineering infrastructure. The complex will comprise server racks, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, cooling systems, monitoring systems, and a diesel generator set for backup power supply. In addition, the contract provides for the supply of computing and networking equipment, including data storage systems, firewalls and a virtualisation platform.

According to the technical specifications, the modernisation is necessary to improve the reliability and fault tolerance of the EMERCOM’s IT infrastructure. Current capacities do not fully meet the requirements for security and operational continuity, which is critical for emergency response systems.

The implementation of the project should ensure the stable operation of the agency’s digital services, minimise the risk of data loss and improve readiness to process information in emergency situations.
