12/20/2025, 09:00Mobile operators made a significant contribution to the capitalization of the economy in January-November. Overall, investment in fixed capital in Kyrgyzstan during the period under review amounted to 283.2 billion KGS (+18.1%).
This growth was driven by both domestic (+18.2%) and foreign (+17.5%) sources of financing.
Thus, investments in the development and modernization of telecommunications networks, including the construction of new base stations, by Alfa Telecom CJSC (MEGA brand) and Nur Telecom LLC (O! brand) increased by 19.2%. The expansion of communications infrastructure is linked to the growth in investment activity and digital development in the country.
Overall, 82.3% of total investment was directed towards the construction of facilities in the fields of mineral extraction, transport and storage, energy, manufacturing, education, and housing construction.
In addition to telecom investments, a significant contribution to the growth of the economy's capitalization was made by an increase in housing construction, growth in investments in the construction of educational facilities (+18.3%), and an increase in capital investments in the development of urban infrastructure in Bishkek and Osh.
Against the backdrop of increased investment activity, the total gross output of construction for January–November amounted to 318.9 billion KGS, which is 29% higher than in the same period last year.
