07/17/2025, 13:45A meeting with business representatives and relevant associations was held yesterday to discuss a draft resolution on state support measures for domestic producers. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Sultan Akhmatov. The document provides for partial compensation to exporters, in particular for logistics costs, the introduction of standards, and participation in international exhibitions.
The meeting was attended by representatives of production clusters ranging from soap and detergents to honey, melons, and vegetables. Each industry shared its requests, ranging from detailed information on expenses to flexibility in the conditions for receiving compensation.
Following the meeting, the ministry will consider the proposals and adapt the support mechanism to the specific characteristics of different sectors. The goal is to strengthen the position of Kyrgyz products in foreign markets and create predictable conditions for exporters.
