The mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, inspected the Dordoi and Osh Bazary markets to see how things were going with improvements and clearing out street trading.

During his tour of the Dordoi market, the head of the capital instructed that work begin on the reconstruction of the road inside the market, including sidewalks and an irrigation system.

The mayor also met with market traders and instructed them to check documents confirming the legality of the containers and to issue notices for the voluntary dismantling of structures obstructing the construction of the road.

In addition, the head of the capital instructed that fire safety standards and requirements be enforced at the market.

During a tour of the Osh Bazary shopping and entertainment complex, the Leninsky Akimat was tasked with taking control of and completing all relevant work on the market premises.

City services have been instructed to dismantle structures without the appropriate permits located along the Ala-Archa River. The task has been set to clean up the surrounding area and carry out improvement works.
