The Mayor of Bishkek instructed to revise system of payment in public transport

Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev instructed the relevant services to revise the system of payment for travel in public municipal transport.

In particular, at a scheduled meeting, the mayor proposed to provide for the possibility of payment for only one trip, if a passenger within a certain time makes one or more transfers.

For example, if a passenger pays 51 KGS for two transfers on three buses, 17 KGS each in cashless payment, then with this program it will be possible to pay only 17 KGS for two transfers.

In addition, due to the upcoming rainy season, the municipal enterprise “Bishkekasfaltservis” has been instructed not to uncover and start major repairs of roads and sidewalks, but to complete all the work started earlier. The municipal enterprise “Tazalyk” was instructed to clean road markings and update them if necessary.
