The Ministry of Finance transferred 15.6% of NEGK shares to the Ministry of Energy for management

On 11 September, changes were made to the list of shareholders of OJSC National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan. Specifically, a 15.6% stake in the authorised capital, previously owned by the Ministry of Finance, was transferred to the Ministry of Energy.

Prior to the change, the Ministry of Finance owned 6.87 billion ordinary registered shares of NESK worth 11.38 billion KGS. After the transaction, the ministry no longer has a stake in the energy company.

A similar stake is now held by the Ministry of Energy, which has become the new owner of 6.87 billion shares, or 15.6% of the company's capital.

Thus, control of a significant stake in the country's largest energy network company has officially passed from the financial department to the relevant ministry.
