08/06/2026, 15:33On 7 August, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan will hold an auction to issue ten-year government treasury bonds.
The issue size will be 1.5 billion KGS, with a coupon rate of 8 per cent per annum. The maturity date of the securities has been set for 10 August 2036.
Interest on the bonds will be paid twice a year – on 10 February and 10 August – until the maturity date.
If the entire issue is placed, the annual coupon payments will amount to 120 million KGS, or 60 million KGS every six months. Over ten years, bondholders will be credited with 1.2 billion KGS in interest.
In 2036, the government will also need to repay 1.5 billion KGS of the principal.
