01/16/2026, 10:22The Ministry of Finance successfully placed the entire announced volume of 12-month government treasury bills following an auction held on January 15 on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange.
The weighted average yield of the issue was 10.5% per annum, which is the same as at the previous auction on September 4 last year.
With an offer of 150 million KGS, demand reached 160.36 million KGS. This allowed the issue to be sold in full. The minimum and maximum yields on satisfied bids coincided and amounted to 10.5%.
The placement was the first in 2026 and effectively launched the government's domestic borrowing program. As of January 12, the volume of government bills in circulation amounted to 2.98 billion KGS.
