On Friday, December 22, on the primary market on the floor of the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange a large offering of common shares of Electric Stations OJSC was held.

Within one deal 960.7 mln shares were sold at the price of KGS 4.4751 per unit, which allowed to raise KGS 4.3 bln.

The placement of shares was part of the decision made at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on December 16 to issue additional common registered shares and increase the company's authorized capital.

All shares were purchased by the Ministry of Finance within the closed placement. The reason for the transaction was a tax liability, which arose during the transfer of property complexes of the company's branches - Bishkek CHPP and Bishkekteploseti.
