06/25/2025, 16:34As part of the Emergency Support for Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises project, the Ministry of Finance is providing entrepreneurs with interest-free loans totalling more than 9.52 billion soms.
As part of the implementation of the Cabinet of Ministers' anti-crisis plan and in order to support small and medium-sized enterprises in responding to crisis situations, the ‘Emergency Support for Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises’ project has been launched, financed by the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
As a result, since its launch and to date, the amount of interest-free loans has reached 9 billion 52 million 61 thousand 322 soms. It was received by 11 thousand 619 entrepreneurs.
In category 1 (up to 1 million som), 9,586 entrepreneurs were granted 5 billion 693 million 532 thousand 424 som.
In category 2 (up to 3 million som), loans were received by 2,033 entrepreneurs.
The total amount amounted to 3 billion 358 million 528 thousand 899 som. The project will be implemented throughout the country until July 2027.
