The Ministry of Internal Affairs has become the owner of the Unified Register of Offences

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the transfer of the Unified Register of Offences (ERPn) to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to the resolution, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is designated as the keeper (owner) of the ERPn, which implies responsibility for its proper maintenance and operation.

The State Agency «Kyzmat» under the Presidential Administration has been appointed as the technical operator of the automated information system ‘Unified Register of Offences’ (AIS ‘ERPn’).

To ensure uninterrupted operation and continuity, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has been instructed to take over the AIS ‘ERPn’ from the General Prosecutor's Office, together with the material and technical resources and financial resources necessary for its functioning.

This decision will improve the efficiency of law enforcement agencies, ensure transparency and efficiency in the processing of information on offences, and improve coordination between various state bodies and local authorities.

All state bodies and local government bodies authorised to consider cases of offences are obliged to bring their decisions into line with this resolution.
