Ministry of Labour and UNICEF sign plan to protect children's rights

The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have officially signed a joint work plan for 2025.

Minister Ravshanbek Sabirov noted that this event is important and symbolic for everyone working for the benefit of children, families and vulnerable groups in our country.

«This is not just a technical document, it is the result of our shared responsibility, our commitment to sustainable development and an expression of our firm political will not to leave any child or family behind. This is especially true when it comes to caring for those who find themselves in vulnerable situations», — he said.

According to the official, based on today's realities, the plan focuses on national priorities, including the country's international commitments in the field of children's rights and social protection.

The ministry's policy focuses on three key objectives: to create an environment for children where they can grow up in safety, care and love. Where this is difficult, the state must guarantee inclusive conditions for children. The social infrastructure also needs to be improved so that the responsible state services can respond more sensitively to children's issues.

UNICEF representative Samman Tapa praised the government's commitment to protecting children's rights.
