A modern building is being constructed on the site of the old Lomonosov School in Oshe

The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services is building a new, modern school with a capacity of 750 pupils on the site of the demolished Lomonosov School in Oshe, which had a history stretching back a century.

Construction of the project began in February this year. 

To date, the main structural elements of the four-storey building have been erected, and interior finishing work is underway on the first and second floors.

According to the plans, the school’s total floor area will be 10,896 square metres. The building will consist of four blocks and four storeys, with a basement.

The new school will feature 37 classrooms, laboratories, a library, a canteen, vocational training rooms, a medical room, an assembly hall and a modern sports hall equipped with all the necessary facilities.
