Staff from the State Tax Service carried out a raid at the ‘Bereke’ market in the city of Manas. During the inspection, a consignment of tobacco products without excise stamps or accompanying documents was discovered in the car park.
A total of 1,110 packets of cigarettes with a total value of around 133,000 KGS were seized. The case materials have been handed over to the law enforcement authorities for further legal assessment.
