    $13.34 million has been allocated for the construction of the Tugol-Suu seasonal reservoir in the Jumgal district

    Construction work is 58% complete. The reservoir will be commissioned by the end of 2025. As a result, water supply will be improved for 3,208 hectares and 1,602 hectares of new land will be developed.

    The total cost of constructing the Shamshi reservoir in the Kochkor district is $16.07 million. Construction work is 70% complete. It will also be commissioned by the end of 2025. As a result, water supply will be improved for 1,086 hectares of irrigated land and 1,704 hectares of new land will be developed.

    The total cost of construction of the Kulanak gravity canal in the Naryn district is 412 million soms. Currently, 36% of its construction has been completed. It will be commissioned by the end of 2026, which will improve water supply to 4,435 hectares of irrigated land.

    Also, as part of the construction of reservoirs and modernisation of water management facilities for 2024-2035, contracts worth 37.3 million soms have been signed for the Terek-Sai BDR from the Ak-Talin district, the Ak-Chii canal, the Ichke-Tashrabat BDZ in the At-Bashinsky district and the Omuko Canal, and design and estimate documentation is being developed.In 2024, the water management facilities of the Naryn region were replenished with 15 new units of equipment worth 131.37 million soms. Thus, 8 excavators, 3 concrete mixers, 1 front loader, 1 crane-manipulator and 2 trucks were purchased.
