The National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic received 26 new vehicles for expeditions

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic handed over 26 vehicles worth 44.8 million KGS to the National Academy of Sciences. The new vehicles are intended for archaeological, geological, geophysical, biological and other field scientific and expeditionary research.

At the handover ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister noted that the National Academy of Sciences receives comprehensive support from the state: the institution's building has been completely renovated and the salaries of its employees have been doubled.

The vehicles will enable scientists to conduct research in hard-to-reach and remote areas of the country, as well as to carry out state scientific and scientific-technical tasks.

He also stressed that the state will continue to pay attention to the development of the scientific sphere, expecting innovative solutions and contributions to economic growth from the academy.
