April was especially active, when the treasury received 252.5 million KGS, which is almost half of the total amount for the four months. For comparison, for January-March 2025, the receipts amounted to 261.9 million KGS.
Thus, in just a third of the year, the treasury has already received 70% of the amount collected for the whole of 2024, when revenues from the “tax on Google” amounted to 709.3 million KGS.
This indicates the rapid growth of the digital economy and the strengthening of fiscal control over transnational IT giants operating in the Kyrgyz market.
