    Naryn Oblast to receive record funding for infrastructure

    In all regions of the country, meetings with the population continue to be held on the instructions of President Sadyr Zhaparov. Their purpose is to identify and solve the most pressing issues for citizens on the spot.

    Another meeting was held in Naryn oblast. Residents openly shared their proposals and outlined their concerns.

    According to Azamat Kadyraliev, head of the Department for Preparation of Presidential and Cabinet Decisions of the Presidential Administration, one of the key differences of this meeting was the almost complete absence of complaints about the lack of kindergartens. He noted that this is evidence of real progress in preschool education in the region.

    The meeting paid much attention to ongoing infrastructure projects. According to the Presidential Administration, Naryn region is currently implementing programs totaling 9 billion 455 million soms, which is a record amount of funding for the region.

    The funds are directed to the following areas:

    • construction and repair of roads - 1.5 billion soms;
    • construction of social facilities - 1.4 billion soms;
    • development of irrigation systems - 2.4 billion soms;
    • provision of clean drinking water to the population - 2.9 billion soms.

    Additionally, on the initiative of the head of state, another 1 billion soms was allocated, of which 807 million soms were directed to the development of the city of Naryn.

    Azamat Kadyraliev emphasized that the implementation of such projects is a confirmation of the course for fair and balanced development of all regions of the country. He also noted the importance of transparency, control and participation of citizens themselves in these processes.
