  The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set the official exchange rates for 18 August 2026. Compared with the rates on 15 August, the KGS has strengthened against the rouble and weakened against the euro, the tenge and the Chinese yuan. The US dollar exchange rate remained unchanged.

• Kyrgyzstan’s exports to the EAEU fell by 5.3% over the first half of the year

  The volume of Kyrgyzstan’s trade with EAEU countries in January–June 2026 amounted to $3 billion. Compared with the same period last year, the figure fell by 0.1%. At the same time, Kyrgyzstan’s exports to the union’s member states fell by 5.3 per cent, whilst imports rose by 1.1 per cent.
