09/29/2026, 13:35During the week of 21–25 September, the National Bank imposed sanctions on three legal entities for breaches of legislation and regulatory requirements.
Two companies were each fined 13,000 KGS for unjustifiably refusing to accept the national currency as payment.
In addition, on 23 September, the National Bank revoked the licence of the ‘Bashat Keiji’ currency exchange bureau in Bishkek for breaching legislation and the regulator’s regulations.
The National Bank stated that the measures were taken following the results of inspections carried out over the past week.
