In Tamchy, a company was fined 28,000 KGS over sewage

In the village of Tamchy in the Issyk-Kul Region, a construction company was fined 28,000 KGS for breaching environmental regulations. The inspection was carried out following a complaint from a local resident. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Specialists from the Ministry of Natural Resources inspected the construction site and checked the condition of the septic tank belonging to a branch of the company, as well as its wastewater management practices.

The inspection confirmed the violation. The company was ordered to regularly pump out wastewater from the septic tank using specialised equipment and dispose of it at designated sites.

The Ministry of Natural Resources has called on members of the public and organisations to comply with environmental requirements.
