The National Bank has revoked the registration and foreign exchange licence of the microcredit company ‘Ak-Nur Capital’

With effect from 9 September, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan is revoking the certificate of registration and the licence of the microcredit company ‘Ak-Nur Capital’. This is due to a breach of the regulator’s statutory requirements.

The following have been revoked from the microcredit company ‘Ak-Nur Capital’:

  • the certificate of registration dated 29 September 2009;
  • the licence to buy and sell foreign currency on its own behalf dated 5 June 2017.

The company is based in Bishkek.

At the same time, the National Bank has reinstated the certificate of registration of another microcredit company, ‘BusinessInvestCredit Development’.

The decision was taken by a resolution of the National Bank’s Supervisory Committee dated 3 September. The company’s certificate will be valid again from 9 September.
