The National Bank has suspended the licences of six currency exchange bureaux in Bishkek

The National Bank has suspended the licences of six currency exchange bureaux in Bishkek for breaching the requirements of legislation and the regulator’s regulations.

The licence of the currency exchange bureau ‘Keiji 098’ LLC, located at 76 Bokonbaev Street, flat 2, has been suspended for five days, from 12 to 16 September inclusive.

The licences of a further five currency exchange bureaux have been suspended for the period from 12 to 26 September:

• ‘Zhetigen & Co’ LLP – 150 Abdrakhmanov Street, premises 29/1;
• ‘Milan Obmen’ LLP – 5 Togolok Moldo Street;
• ‘MEFF CASH’ LLP – 105 Abdrakhmanov Street;
• Prestige Money A LLC – 119 Abdrakhmanov Street;
• Grand Money LLC – 53/1 Tokombayev Street.

In all cases, the licences were suspended due to breaches of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the regulatory legal acts of the National Bank.
