The National Bank Approves New Appointments in the Banking Sector

The National Bank has approved a number of personnel appointments to executive positions within the country’s financial institutions.

Cholpon Kalygulova has been approved as Chief Accountant of Kyrgyzkommertsbank OJSC, while Jamiyla Janibekova has been appointed Deputy Chief Accountant and Head of the Reporting and Post-Control Department for Banking Operations at the same bank. Bakytbek Abdamitov has been confirmed as Chairman of the Management Board of Kyrgyzkommertsbank OJSC.

In addition, the National Bank approved the candidacies of two foreign specialists at KSB Commercial Bank CJSC: Christian Arnaud Lüscher has become an independent member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, and Jean-Luc Bächler has been appointed as an independent member of the Board of Directors.

These decisions were made as part of the National Bank's oversight and regulation of the country’s banking system.
