The National Bank buys gold bars weighing 31.1 grams for more than 405,000 KGS

The price of a 31.1035 gram (troy ounce) standard gold bar in Kyrgyzstan on January 16 showed moderate growth compared to the previous day. This is evidenced by data on the prices of standard bars.

The buyback price of an ounce of gold today was 405,352 KGS. This is 383 KGS higher than the previous day (January 15 — 404,969 KGS). The increase over the day was about 0.09%.

The selling price per ounce increased more significantly — to 411,432.5 KGS against 411,043.5 KGS the day before. Thus, the daily increase amounted to 389 KGS, or approximately 0.1%.

The price dynamics reflect the continuing interest in gold as a safe-haven asset. The increase in the price per ounce also led to higher prices for smaller and larger bars — from 1 gram to 100 grams.
