The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced a tender for the lease of a fibre-optic communication channel

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced an open, nationwide repeat tender for the lease of a fibre-optic communication channel. This is an infrastructure tender aimed at ensuring stable and secure data transmission channels for the country’s financial system.

Such communication channels are used for the operation of the payment infrastructure, interbank settlements, the exchange of financial data and the functioning of the regulator’s digital services. Against a backdrop of growing non-cash transactions and the digitalisation of the banking sector, the reliability of such lines directly affects the stability of the entire financial system.

Documents for participation in the tender must be submitted by 17:00 on 30 June 2026 via email to [tender@nbkr.kg](mailto:tender@nbkr.kg), subject to the signing of a handover certificate for the tender documentation.

A pre-tender conference will be held for potential participants on 26 June 2026 at 15:30, where technical requirements, channel parameters and connection conditions are usually clarified.

Tenders must be submitted by 10:00 on 3 July 2026 to the following address: 189 Kyivska Street, Bishkek. Documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Tenders will be opened at 10:00 on 3 July 2026 in the presence of participants’ representatives.
