The National Bank closed September with a 2.6 billion KGS profit

At the end of September, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan had a 2 billion 576 million 421 thousand KGS profit. This is stated in the regulator's reports. 

This is the result formed by the National Bank based on the results of nine months of work. Of these, in September it received a profit of 820.8 million KGS. It is important to say that most of the year, up to August, the NBKR worked in a loss, which peaked at the end of May - 509.2 million KGS.

In August, for the first time in a year, the NB KR made a profit, which allowed it to fully cover the accumulated loss and form a positive financial result for 1 billion 755.6 million KGS.

As of the end of September 2023, the profit of the National Bank was three times higher than the current indicator and amounted to 9 billion 148.5 million KGS.
