Ayil Bank Introduces FSX-13 Program Based on Islamic Principles

Aiyl Bank OJSC announced the launch of the state programme ‘Financing of Agriculture - 13’ based on Islamic principles of financing.

The programme operates under the fully Shariah-compliant Murabaha mechanism and provides agrarians with financing of up to KGS 1 million for up to 36 months. The initiative targets livestock farmers for raising livestock and poultry, as well as for the purchase of fodder and improvement of housing conditions. Farmers are offered financing for growing grain, fodder and industrial crops, developing greenhouses and introducing water-saving technologies.

Special attention is paid to water conservation projects, including drip irrigation, construction of reservoirs and introduction of modern irrigation systems. The main scheme of work is that the bank acquires an asset and transfers it to the client with an agreed mark-up under a Murabaha contract, which ensures transparency and compliance with Islamic principles.
