08/20/2026, 11:25Inflows of cross-border remittances to Kyrgyzstan in June 2026 totalled $292.1 million. This is 1 per cent higher than the previous month, when the figure stood at $289.4 million. Compared with June 2025, inflows fell by 1 per cent — at that time, they had reached $295.1 million.
The bulk of remittances continues to come from CIS countries. In June 2026, these accounted for $271.2 million, of which $266.7 million came from Russia. A further $2.1 million came from Kazakhstan, and $2.4 million from other CIS countries.
At the same time, the volume of remittances from countries outside the CIS is growing. In June 2026, it amounted to $20.8 million, compared with $16.9 million a year earlier. In particular, remittances from the US rose from $7.6 million to $16.5 million.
The outflow of remittances from Kyrgyzstan in June totalled $35.5 million, compared with $34.5 million a year earlier. As a result, the balance of cross-border remittances reached $256.5 million, an increase of 1.5 per cent compared with June 2025.
