Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan discussed trade, economic and energy sectors

The one-day working visit of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev to Tajikistan has concluded.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Kohir Rasulzoda.

The negotiations were held in both narrow and expanded formats, where issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, energy, cultural, humanitarian and other areas were discussed.

In addition, Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant, where he learned about the construction experience of this hydropower facility in the context of building the Kambarata HPP-1 in Kyrgyzstan. Following the visit, agreements were reached, and the parties expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the meetings and confirmed their intention to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
