01/03/2025, 12:11For January-September 2024, the outflow of foreign direct investments from Kyrgyzstan decreased by 13% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $217.6 million. Such data was provided by the National Statistical Committee.
The main decline was due to a decrease in the outflow of equity capital and reinvested profits.
The largest volume of outflow (87.6%) fell on enterprises related to mining, financial intermediation and insurance, wholesale and retail trade, geological exploration and manufacturing industry. However, within these spheres the dynamics differed. Thus, the outflow of investments from manufacturing industries decreased by 6.6 times, while from the enterprises of mineral extraction it increased by 2.7 times, from geological exploration - by 1.9 times, and from the sphere of trade and financial intermediation - by 1.6 times and 1.6%, respectively.
