"Altyn-Bulak Resort Not for Sale: Clarifications from Bishkek City Hall"

Bishkek City Hall denied the statement of Bishkek City Kenesh deputy Kuvanichbek Kongantiev about the sale of boarding house ‘Altyn-Bulak’. The authorities explained that the object was put up for auction for lease for five years, not for sale. The preliminary monthly rent is 548 thousand 583 soms.

According to the terms of the agreement, the lessee undertakes to demolish the old buildings, build a new boarding house in accordance with the legislation and transfer all the constructed facilities to the balance of the municipality at the end of the lease term. There are also favourable conditions for employees of the mayor's office, including 50 places annually.

The mayor's office emphasised that attracting investors is a priority, as the construction of new facilities requires significant financial investments not provided for in the local budget. The authorities also reminded that the dissemination of false information is punishable under the law.
