Carriers reminded of risk of restrictions due to violations on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan route

The Uzbekistan Ministry of Transport has warned international road transport companies about the inadmissibility of violating the terms of use of multilateral permits on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan route. This was reported by Gazeta.uz

According to the ministry, the permits issued are intended exclusively for the transport of goods along the approved route: Tashkent — Andijan — Osh — Irkeshtam — Kashgar and back. They are part of the development of the regional transport corridor and must be used strictly for their intended purpose.

However, according to the Ministry of Transport, there have been frequent cases of carriers using permits only for delivery between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, bypassing the Chinese section. Such actions violate the rules and may result in sanctions.

The ministry reminded that forms used for purposes other than those for which they were issued will be considered invalid. Carriers who violate the rules may face restrictions on obtaining new permits in the future.
