First Deputy Prime Minister talks about the introduction of digital solutions in the public sector

The 7th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum opened in Cholpon-Ata. First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev addressed the participants at the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Daniyar Amangeldiyev emphasised the key role of the forum in exchanging experience, developing joint initiatives and deepening bilateral and multilateral ties. He expressed his gratitude to the organisers — the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, international and domestic experts, representatives of business, the scientific community and government agencies — for their active participation and productive interaction.

«The 7th Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum is an effective platform for constructive dialogue on economic development, strengthening partnership and identifying new growth areas», — Daniyar Amangeldiyev stressed.

The First Deputy Prime Minister also noted the 10th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, noting the steady growth of key socio-economic indicators in the member countries. He highlighted the increase in GDP, the reduction in unemployment and the positive dynamics in the priority sectors of the EAEU economy.

Special attention was paid to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Russia, which is one of Kyrgyzstan's main trading partners.

The main theme of the VII Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum was «Digital sovereignty as a driver of economic growth».

In this context, Daniyar Amangeldiyev emphasised the state's priority support for digital transformation processes, including through the implementation of the national programmes «Digital Kyrgyzstan’ and ‘Startup Kyrgyzstan». As a successful example of the development of the digital economy, he highlighted the achievements of the High-Tech Park, which by the end of 2024 had 477 companies as residents, generating revenue of 11.4 billion soms, with 94% of production exported.

In addition, the First Deputy Prime Minister reported on the introduction of digital solutions in the public sector, in particular the ‘E-Kyzmat’ project. He also noted the growing attractiveness of Kyrgyzstan as a tourist destination and spoke about large-scale projects to create year-round mountain resorts, implemented on the initiative of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

«I am confident that holding the forum on the picturesque shores of Issyk-Kul will fully demonstrate our country's tourism potential and help attract new investments to this promising industry», — concluded Daniyar Amangeldiyev.
