The area of the Manas-Ordo museum building will be increased by more than a thousand square meters

The Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Utilities reports that work is actively underway in the Talas region to reconstruct the Manas-Ordo complex. The construction work is being carried out by the state-owned enterprise Kyrgyzkurulush.

Currently, reinforcement frames are being installed and monolithic reinforced concrete slabs are being laid. Work is also underway to install the formwork system and excavate the foundation pits.

The total area of the Manas-Ordo complex is 225 hectares. According to the new project, the area of the museum building will increase from 450 to 1,500 square meters, and the national characteristics of the Kyrgyz people will be reflected in modern and national styles.

The project envisages that the complex will become a unique cultural space in Central Asia, capable of receiving up to 10,000 visitors per day. The complex will include an administrative center, a 300-seat congress hall, cottages with national elements, summer and winter kitchens, as well as centers for holding festive events. In addition, there will be a gallery and a recreation area for guests, as well as a cultural and community center with 3,500 seats.
The complex is undergoing a major renovation for the first time in 30 years.
