Head of construction company detained on suspicion of fraud

During operational search measures aimed at identifying violations of the country's legislation in the construction of residential buildings, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic obtained information about the persons responsible at the construction company Pamir-Stroy, who embezzled $500,000.

It has been established that the owner of one of the construction companies, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, M.A.Sh., concluded a contract in 2023 for the joint construction of a multi-storey residential complex with the owner of the land plot, a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, K.K.O.

In 2024, the state authorities filed a lawsuit with the courts to seize the land plot, and subsequently 10% of the residential space belonging to K.K.O. was returned to the state balance sheet.

In addition, M.A.Sh., with the aim of obtaining personal financial gain from the situation, fraudulently obtained $500,000 from K.K.O.

As a result of the investigative and operational measures taken, the facts of the receipt of funds by M.A.Sh. were documented, and he was detained and placed in institution 21 of the State Penitentiary Service.

Currently, the State Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting additional investigative and operational measures to establish other persons involved in the above-mentioned facts.
