10/14/2025, 10:44The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic has identified and suppressed the activities of a group of individuals who entered into a criminal conspiracy and organised a fraudulent scheme by conducting a fictitious lottery called ‘Osh Sila’ without any permits.
During the investigation, it was established that the organisers of the lottery held draws, which resulted in fictitious winners.
In order to attract a large number of participants, expensive prizes were offered, such as movable and immovable property (cars, flats, land plots). In fact, the winners were front men, and all the prizes remained with the lottery organisers. In this way, they misled ordinary citizens with fictitious prizes and increased their income from their fraudulent activities.
As a result of searches conducted at the Osh Sila lottery office, material evidence was found and seized, including a printer for printing lottery tickets, a drum for the draw, cars that were used as prizes in illegal lotteries, and documentation confirming the illegal activity.
A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of fraud. The organisers of the illegal lottery, K.U.K. and B.M.A., have been detained and placed in SIZO No. 21.
Further investigative measures are currently being carried out to establish all the circumstances and persons involved.
