As part of Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit to Kyrgyzstan today, 26 November, a number of bilateral documents were signed aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, healthcare, migration, economic and military-technical cooperation.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a joint statement on deepening relations of alliance and strategic partnership.
A number of bilateral documents were also signed:
- Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in the field of strategic planning;
- An agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on the legal status of representative offices of competent authorities on internal affairs and migration in the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation;
- An agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on the conditions for the construction of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University campus in the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in the field of cardiology;
- Protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation on the development of military-technical cooperation dated 20 June 2017;
- Agreement of Intent between the open joint-stock company Kyrgyz Post and the joint-stock company Russian Post.
