The most appealing employment arrangement for them is a hybrid model, combining office-based and remote work. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the HeadHunter Kyrgyzstan platform, in which more than 250 job seekers took part.
According to the survey, 46% of respondents cited the hybrid model as the most comfortable. A further 31% would prefer to work entirely remotely. Meanwhile, only 13% of those surveyed opted for an exclusively office-based arrangement, whilst 10% noted that the nature of their profession does not allow them to work outside the workplace. A further 1% chose another response option.
At the same time, 40% of survey participants are currently working entirely in the office. A hybrid schedule is already being used by 26% of respondents, whilst 20% are working entirely remotely. A further 7% each reported that their work involves travelling or specified another arrangement.
The survey results show that flexible working arrangements are becoming one of the key factors when choosing an employer. Although the office-based model remains the most common at present, the majority of job seekers would like the option to work remotely at least part of the time.
