12/17/2024, 17:55The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has extended the anti-dumping duty on seamless hot-deformed pipes made of corrosion-resistant steel from China until September 24, 2025. This measure was initially set to expire on January 31, 2025.
However, the EEC's Department for Internal Market Protection received a request prompting the initiation of a new anti-dumping investigation on September 25, 2024.
According to the EAEU regulatory framework, the duration of the existing anti-dumping measure can be extended for the period of the new investigation, which is expected to conclude within 12 months from its commencement, as noted in an EEC trade bloc statement. The anti-dumping duty on these pipes from China was originally imposed under EEC Board Decision No. 218 dated December 3, 2019, and is set at 15.5% of the customs value.
