04/28/2026, 13:26A total of 8,297,300 KGS is earmarked for the development of the design project for the complex’s renovation. This is stated on the public procurement website.
According to the technical specifications, the contractor must develop a concept for exhibition spaces, interior design solutions in the national style, as well as 3D visualisations of the facilities.
A separate set of requirements concerns the implementation of multimedia systems, touchscreens and interactive elements. The project also includes the design of navigation systems, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities, and the integration of modern engineering systems – lighting, climate control and security.
Earlier, the Minister of Construction and relevant officials from the ministry visited the Talas region on an inspection tour. During the inspection, delays were noted at certain sites, following which contractors and the responsible authorities were instructed to speed up the work and deliver concrete results within a short timeframe.
As previously reported, the renovation of the complex is scheduled to be completed by Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic – 31 August 2026.
