09/18/2025, 09:32On 17 September, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev conducted an on-site inspection of several educational institutions in the capital, including Secondary School No. 56, Gymnasium No. 39, and Preschools No. 117 and No. 87.
The inspection was prompted by information on social media about the deplorable condition of School No. 56. The complaints were confirmed on site, with the unsatisfactory condition of the courtyard, sidewalks, sports hall, and basement rooms.
Following the inspection, personnel decisions were made immediately. In particular, the deputy head of the Oktyabrsky District Administration, Asel Sadykova, and the head of the district education department, Nurlan Baigulov, were dismissed from their posts. The head of the Oktyabrsky District Administration, Zhanibek Orozaliyev, received a reprimand.
Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva and the head of the city hall's education department, Rakhat Musaeva, were also brought to disciplinary responsibility.
The mayor ordered that all identified deficiencies be eliminated by 22 September, namely, to improve the schoolyard, repair sidewalks, restore green spaces, replace lighting in the gym, close basements and install fences for the safety of students.
School No. 56 will be included in the list of facilities for major repairs in 2026. Additional funds will be allocated from the mayor's reserve fund for priority work.
During a tour of Gymnasium No. 39, as well as preschool institutions No. 117 and No. 87, Dzhusunshaliev demanded that repair work be accelerated and safety requirements be strictly observed.
The city authorities will strengthen control over the condition of educational facilities so that schoolchildren and kindergarten pupils can study in safe and decent conditions.
