Electronic Registration System Introduced for Jewelry Sector in Kyrgyzstan

The State Tax Service has automated the process of registering individuals who deal in precious metals, gemstones and jewellery.

Applications and the necessary information can now be submitted via the Taxpayer’s Electronic Portal without having to visit a tax office.

The service also allows users to track the status of their application and receive the result electronically.

Following the review, a Certificate of Special Registration and a Registration Card are issued.

The State Tax Service notes that the switch to an online format will reduce paperwork and the time taken to receive the service.
